I just got a 782D.It needs a little help ,but is still a good tractor. With a little time and money I'll get it back to show quality.I would like to get pics inside and out of some other 782D's.

I can give you some of my 982D. It's all the same in the engine area as your 782D.

If there is anything specific I can get pics of, let me know.

The plug is for a heater but I'll have to double check to make sure it is a pump heater. Was on there when I got it. I can try to get some pics tomorrow of the air cleaner. If I recall there is no screen covering the entrance of the air cleaner on mine.

Nice D!!! you'll have it top notch in no time. The 782d, 882, 1512, 1572 use a coolant heater, not a block heater.

I am needing a few pics of the throttle linkage area. My cable came off of the cam and I cannot tell if I need a new cable or not.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
