Default Homemade brush hog

What would be a good size brush hog for a 680. I was thinking of making one for farm mowing. I have a mower deck for it that I used this year, but it doesn't have good blades on it. Had my dad sharpen at the begininning of summer and where dull in no time, mowing tall grass. I want to buy new blades and don't want to ruin them farm mowing. I thought of making the brush hog a little wider than the tractor, using two cub tiller gear boxs, one on tractor and one on mower. All feedback, thoughts and imput aprecciated. Thanks

Default trying to build one myself

I am wanting a brush hog type or just a rear mower that will be used to mow the brush some and mow knee deep grass on my 128 . had planned to use the original deck and still might but the pulleys are very rusty so maybe I wil weld up a deck I want to make it 60 in . I bought a 14 hp verticle motor at a swap meet for $60 so I need to get to it to many projects

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
