Default Something I've been wanting a long time

Hey guys,

I had a great day today. I finally found a #2 cart. I've been wanting one, since I've been collecting Cub Cadets. I bought it from fellow forum member wshytle. Heck of a nice guy! Had a great visit! Anyway, here's some pics of it behind my 100.

ACecil,
Nice trailer. I think what I like best about their looks are the fenders. I count you as lucky. There doesn't seem to be many of those around.

Good looking little trailer.
Sometime back I saw a Large Yellow IH Cub trailer on Craigslist for $80.
It went F-A-S-T... I didn't have a chance.

Nice cart.

A little sand, some air.
some paint, some more air.
and walla!
a nice new cart.

There I go again making more work for someone.
It really is a nice cart.
Anyway,
if it was mine thats what would be going through my little brain.
I think I have a brain?
I'm not sure though.

Thanks ole 147! It'll definitely be getting a paint job and some wood stakes, to really make it sharp.

Hey ACecil, You could have spelled my name correctly. lol

It was good meeting a fellow cubber (and wife cubber). I'm truly glad to see the trailer go to someone with so much enthusiasm (sp). I have about 3 cubs waiting in line to get back to work so I am reducing the number of projects I have accumilated. I'll be looking forward to seeing the finished product, wood sides and all. Good Luck!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
