Thumbs up POTW Announcement

I am happy to announce that Eric Ferguson juniors1282 has volunteered to take over Picture of the Week Coordinator. This is one of my favorite features of the site. I’ve always looked forward to seeing whose cub has become the newest addition to the POTW club. Follow the link for the guide lines for submitting your cub/cubs. I’m looking forward to seeing your submissions in future POTW’s.

I would also like to take a minute and personally thank Terry Reed T-Mo for making POTW what it has become.

Default suggestion for stepping up. POTW

I think a cool way to step up POTW would be to put it on the home page. I think if it was put at the top and took the place of the 982 picture, that would be awesome. Its just a thought idk if its possible tho

That image is actually dynamically generated from the banner image and another image I specify. No need to open up photoshop every week. Would be very simple to implement.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
