Default Snow blade trip springs?
Picked up a snowplow / blade sans the springs.

Suggestions? I was thinking of trying some garage door springs modified to fit. Plan "B" would be to buy something similar but it looks like big $$ for extension springs plus I have no idea what the specs should be.

Garage door companies make springs, I would guess they have "drops" from cutting.

I would go with what they got that looks close or spend the $$!!

Is the blade an IH Cub Cadet blade?

Check with one of the parts suppliers at the top of the page. You will spend as much or more and not get the performace of an IH design spring for your blade.

Garage door springs are bigger than the spring on the IH Cub Cadet blade.

I went to my local harware store and got springs for my snow blower on the 1110. It's a 42" blower and they seem to be working fine, price wasn't bad either if I remember correctly.
