Hey anyone have any source for decals for implements such as snow throwers, tillers, etc. I have found international decals for ends of QA36A on Binder Books but no caution stickers? Just thinking of summer projects seems like they are very tuff to find for older stuff? Thanks

340demon,
If you do find them let me know too! Someone in the business should start making these. They may not sell as many as for the tractors but, the technology is already there for them to do decals for us on these implements. Would be nice to order a complete set for snow thrower and #1 tiller too. Would really complete the restoration work. Maybe Binder or Maple hunter would do it? I may need to drop them a note. Regards, Chris

Ya need to take some pictures and measurements of the originals and see if a sign company or something like that would duplicate for the site as packages? Might be something to look into, and price? May try that come summer unless somebody finds a place, there is a lot of knowledgeable people on this site and may have some ideas? Have found the International stickers on Binder for the side but thats it so far! LOL

Nobody makes the decals for the throwers and such. Binder books has some decals for other tractors (e.g., the word International) which looks very similar to the ones on the side of the throwers. The other ones however are a no go.
I still have all of mine on my thrower if anybody needs a pattern to repro them. A friend of mine can reproduce them but his machine will only cut, he can't print them like the factory ones.

I'm finishing up a 450 snow thrower restoration. I had to grind off the original decals except for the serial number tags. It would be great to have a set of original decals. I've been considering getting a set of decals from a newer thrower just to satisfy anyone with product safety concerns. I'll be posting pics soon.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
