Well Dad decided he needed a trailer to haul the A in to the shows. So I found this yesterday on CL and we went and picked it up today. 2005 United 8.5x18 with an extra 1' height. The guy used it to sell picture frame's out of at local crafts shows. He never towed it more than 10 times a year and it's never been over a hundred miles from his house till today
. He special ordered it with insulated walls and ceiling. Plywood walls and finished ceiling also. It has electric tongue jack, came with the hitch, weight bars, and sway bar. Spare tire included to. He even had all the original owners manuals. I'm gonna pull the shelves out and make a few changes for Dad on the inside. I'll show you guys what it looks like when I'm done .

Rather than pull the shelves out, why not dis-assemble the A and transport on the shelves??
That would give Dad much more wrench time!! ![]() ![]() Good looking trailer!! |

The A is 6'9" at the top of the stack. That's a big reason he bought it the extra height. But ducking is good advice!! Mike and I were supposed to go look at something smaller and yellow and white tomorrow but those plans have been moved till Sunday. So I'm gonna pull the shelves out tomorrow, supposed to be in the 50's again tomorrow here .

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
