Default Question for Moderators

Are we allowed to list late model MTD implements in the for sale section since they are made to fit cub cadets or does it actually have to be marked cub cadet? Thanks Don

Don, if it's made for a Cub Cadet, it can be listed in the for sale, want ad and ebay/CL sections. Brinly plow is one example.

Another question for the mods

What is the refresh time on this forum? As in, if I stop here to read the threads and have to log out/leave the forum, how long until I lose my "unread threads" ?

Thanks

From what I have found from my experience, your refresh is based upon your login and logouts.

When you logout, then return at some time later, the new login determines what is new. I believe it is based upon your cookie settings in your PC.

I think it must be partly OCC settings, as I visit OCC and other sites.

OCC will reset quicker than other sites. Now that is my computer.

I have wanted to ask the same question because of the rapid reset at OCC.

MTF takes three hours to "auto reset". I believe it's an OCC setting since it varies from forum to forum. "The Vette Barn" resets after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
