Default Wheels and tires Quietline

I've noticed that some QL models have larger wheels and tires than others. What is the OEM tire and wheel size for the QL models? Thank you.

Cub Cadet 1250 Tires:
Lawn/turf front: 4.80/4.00-8
Lawn/turf rear: 23x8.50-12

Cub Cadet 1450 Tires:
Lawn/turf front: 16x6.50-8
Lawn/turf rear: 23x8.50-12

Cub Cadet 1650 Tires:
Lawn/turf front: 16x6.50-8
Lawn/turf rear: 23x10.50-12

Of course the buyer could have ordered or had the dealer change the tire configuration at any point in time for the larger or smaller sizes.

My prior info post was taken from tractordata.com

Using a better source, according to Kenneth Updike at Serial # 632502 IH changed the front wheel rims and bearings to a 1" spindle/bearing from the 3/4" spindle/bearing to handle heavier weights of implements and loads.

Here is the tire/rim size options from Ken Updike's "50 Years Of Cub Cadet".

800:
4.80x8 front tires
23x8.50 rear tires

1000
4.80x8 front tires/.75" spindles
16x6.50 front tires/1" spindles
23x8.50 rear tires

1100
4.80x8 front tires/.75" spindles
16x6.50 front tires/1" spindles
23x8.50 rear tires

1200
4.80x8 front tires/.75" spindles
16x6.50 front tires/1" spindles
23x8.50 rear tires

1250
16x6.50 front tires/1" spindles
23x8.50 rear tires

1450
16x6.50 front tires/1" spindles
23x10.50 rear tires

1650
16x6.50 front tires/1" spindles
23x10.50 rear tires

I should have checked his book first.

They very well could have been special ordered like this by buyers when new, but every 1200 or 1250 I've ever had has had 10.50 rear Goodyears, mostly turfs.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
