Default New from NY

Hey Everyone,

New guy (hence the name Nub or Noob) from the Peoples Republic of New York. I'm finally registered after a couple attempts only to find out that hotmail rejects OCC emails so I made a gmail account.
After a mild bored winter and lots of garden tractor research and mini loader research I decided on Cub Cadet. And after searching craigslist for a month or so I finally was united with my new (new to me) cubby 105. Got it home and tore it down immediately, being I'm one that loves to work with my hands, take things apart to see if I can put it back together and see how things work.
When I got the 105 she didnt start or even crank. Gave her a good cleaning some much needed new parts to now having her crank (but still not start). I cant wait to jump into the different forums to ask many questions which I hope you guys and gals can answer so I can get this she-beast up and running. Seems like a great place with some great people to get some much needed questions answer.

Looking foward to it,
Anthony

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
