Default cub cadet 102
i was just looking for a starter solenoid for my 102 and what in the heck makes these things cost so much? i called the local Birkey's cub dealer here and they want 85 dollars for one and i think the cheapest ive found online was 65...is there something special about these or what?

No. Take your old one to any auto parts or TSC-type store and get a generic one that matches...shouldn't cost more than $10.

thats what i was thinking i have a few universals laying around but didnt wanna really try and throw em on and mess something up

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
