Looking for Comfort
Anyone have a link to a comfortable seat that you have purchased for your Cub? Or a store name where you purchased the seat from? The seat on my 782 just doesn't do it for me. I'd like something high-back and maybe with armrests. My back usually hurts when I'm done mowing because I can't sit back and relax. Any thoughts/suggestions are appreciated.

Northern Tool offers a bunch of seats. I haven't purchased or used any of them but perhaps somebody can comment on them.

don't know about the mount holes, but the seats from the new cub GTs are very comfortable, arm rests too. Might find a cheap take off/part out on ebay.

Here sometime in the near future im replacing my 108 seat with a repoduction of a 60's/ early 70's Farmall seat. Ill post some pics once i get the money and have it ordered.

I just bought a seat for the WheelHorse I use for tilling. I got it at Northern Tool. It is very very well padded, and has great back support. It has multiple tapped holes in the bottom to match up to most any kind of seat brackets/spring mounts. It bolted right up to my WheelHorse, and I even used my old mounting bolts. I think I paid about 50 or 60 dollars for it. Well worth it. I would do it again.

I can't speak for others, but for me, a back rest just slaps me in the back and my arms are too busy with the steering wheel/bouncing to use the arm rests.
Again, just my $.02 If I was "parading" the thing, it might be kind of nice to have a special seat. Now a cool one and my lazyboy "gits er done"!!
