QL's bad fuel gauges ?
Guys,
I've got less than 6 months on my new fuel gauge from a supplier here... It looks like the foam must me absorbing fuel. Ie I can move the foam up and down and it works. But put it in my full tank of fuel and it reads empty. Is this common issue? I can live without a gauge, but I spent $20 to have it work. <Michael

Premature failure of the float does not seem to be common. Especially at 6 months. The clear plastic usually becomes so scratched you can't read the gauge long before the float fails.

well i sure hope that they last more than 6 months. im getting ready to buy the one you did if it was from a supplier here. my old one is brown and cracked. i cant even tell if the float is moving the gauge at all.
