Default 1500 Series weights on my 1650?
Will the newer 1500 series weights fit on my 1650?

The seller said they were about 8 inches wide and stick in out of the rim.

Those are the blow molded, sand filled, plastic weights.

Functionally they are OK, but, they lack the aesthetics of cast iron.

For a few bucks more you get to look at super duty cast iron forever!!

I'm not a fan of those plastic-coated weights, either. The plastic eventually cracks, and the sand/iron filing mixture inside goes everywhere and makes a mess. Iron weights do not have this problem.

Fill the tires with windshield washer fluid or RV antifreeze. Cheap and easy.

x2 - 7 gallons in a 10.50 tire makes a world of difference

Not that i mind the look of the cast iron what do they weigh? The plastic does have 75 per side and keep in mind i haven't put the lighter cast on mine but the 149 has certainly come alive with what it will pull since the loaded tires and added the extra 150lbs of wheel weights! You can stack the IH ones though? right? Whats the total weight of those when that is done? I might eventually upgrade to that but not until I bust these

Weights are great, BUT, I am convinced the 1X8 I had gave me clutch difficulties because of the loaded tires.

The 14HP K321 would just overpower the clutch!!

I feel hydros are OK with the extra weight.

The cast iron weights are 26# each, the limit of what I would add to a gear drive wheels.

Just my opinion, and I operate on hilly land, very different than flatlanders!!

gonna have to swap the weights and ags to the 1200 now and see what happens course it already slips in 3rd gear and my house is the only level spot i have... i need ags just to mow LOL

I too like the cast iron weights better but they are hard to find and are very expensive. For now these will do and I will keep my eye out for a good deal on the cast ones. Shipping these things even on a good deal drives that price up too. I am glad these were in the neighborhood.

Shipping on the cast iron wheel weights is cheap and easy get a flat rate box from the post office.

I perfer loaded tires and plastic wheel weights. I do have cast iron wheel weights on Evan's 125 and a IH weight box.

What the heck here's another pic for ya all.
