My rims have something like o-15741 or c-15741 on them.
also there is EWO or EWC and maybe 12x7 1A on them valve stems are turned in to tractor body - concave to outside the would not fit any other way as best I see it. brakes will not fit in the concave... tires are old 23/8.5x12 carlise turf saver are these the original rims? serial places tractor at early 1977 I believe It looks like the concave could hold a lot of weight before extending outside the rim. Thanks Earl |

I don't believe those are original rims, that doesn't sound like a IH part number. The rim size should be 12x8 , could have been special order or or a PO change. The tires originally were goodyears. My 1200 has 23-10.5x12 tires.

I had wondered because others elswhere here had something about valve stems on the outside for a 1650. If that is right then my rims must not be original, since I tried to turn them around and they would not fit. Roland Bedell I will take some pictures soon and post here. Thanks for yall's reply Earl |

Roland
I wanted to know what they rolled from the factory with. I appreciate you posting it. I have 23x8.5x12 and for original should have 23x10.5x12 on proper rims. I need to locate some kentucky feller that has some original parts, sometime, close by. Thanks Earl |

Yeah those are not original rims, The tube plug (where you air it up at(I cant remember what it is called right now)) should be on the outside of the rim instead of the inside. So those are not the right rims.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
