I aquired a 124 with a kwik way on it and was looking for some pics on the original mounting system on the pump and the reserve tank. PO cobbled this part of it to use a different pump. Any help is appreciated.

I'm not sure but I think one of the rules here is, that anytime someone gets a 124 with a kwik way loader, I think it is required that they post pictures.

OMG! That loader is as big as the tractor is - are you serious, these are made for this model of tractor?!!

Yeah...I think mine has a snow bucket; that's why it looks so big. I've got my eye on a 682 to put it on instead.

I think that loader would be almost too big for a 982! that bucket makes it look HUGE!

Unfortunately, no. The pump is on the right side of the tractor behind the starter/generator, driven off the flywheel drive cup pulley. The tank is under the hood above the muffler. I don't think either are located where they belong.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
