Default What size bolt for transmission cover?

I've lost two bolts out of my tranny cover on my 1450. Lawd knows how they fell out!

Anyway, I need two replacements but don't know the size or thread. Instead of just pulling one from another hole (I hate taking something off unless it has to come off), does anyone know the correct size?

Thanks.

The three bolts that hold on the hitch are 1" long.... don't put the long ones in the other locations (or the hitch location if you're not using the hitch) or you risk cracking the casting when the bolt bottoms out and you keep wrenching (as the PO of my 1650 apparently did ). Just an FYI!

Anybody know the torque spec for these bolts??? Where are torques for these things listed?

Chris

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
