Default Cub Cadet Mower - need help
Hey guys! I have a CC mower that I bought back in the late '90's. I haven't used it much in past years and had it stored. I have a buddy that is in need, so I took it out and tried to get it started yesterday. I'm a little perplexed right now. I can squirt carb cleaner in the carb and the cylinder and it will fire. I pulled the fuel line off the carb and loosened the fuel bowl and both had fuel. If I press the primer it will fire also, but it won't stay running. I'm thinking the needle seat is stuck closed??? I have spark and fuel before the carb, but don't seem to be getting fuel from the bowl to the carb. I'd like to get it running and to my buddy soon, so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

if you have fuel in the bowl your main jet is plugged, get a can of carb cleaner and remove bowl and spray liberally in all the holes in carb body. you may have to remove the carb to get it clean
