Alternative Deck for 82 Series?
I have a great old 682, and I use it to mow. The deck on it won't last much longer. So my question is: Will any after market, or other cub cadet deck fit these other than the 38c,44c, and 50c? I just want to know my options, the stock decks are almost impossible to find in Dallas/Ft Worth area. Seems like all the decks that come up on ebay are in Pennsylvania, Ohio! Jealous of you guys up there in cub land!

I might be wrong but you could get one of the earlier stamped decks like a plain 50'' but you would have to change the pulley to 5/8. If the spindles are still good your best bet in my opinion is to go to your cub dealer and order a new shell.
