Default QA42A Snowthrower Skids - Polyethylene

Does anyone have any leads on Polyethylene skids for a QA42A? I have a freshly paved driveway and don't want to be eating into the blacktop this winter and have heard good reviews on the high density Polyethylene skids, but no luck finding ones to fit. Any suggestions before I buy some stock and create my own?

I could make them. Are the skids on a QA42 the same as a QA42A?

Let me do some checking, I suspect they are as in my search for regular skids, I seem to recall both models using the same part number. More to come...

Default poly skid shoes

I have them already made up $22.58 each. They are double sided, 100% CNC machined, and a direct bolt on. Center to center is 3-1/2" They are made out of a paper mill plastic called ROBOLON. Search robalon and see what you find.

Message me if interested.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
