Default 1964 70 Cub with options
Well I did it again. After finding a nice Cub listed for sale nearby I convinced myself I needed it for mowing. This is a 1964 Cub 70 that shares my birthday. After seeing the creeper and fenders I knew I wanted it. My intentions are this for summer and my 102 for winter. Didn't hurt that the guy had just put on new tri-ribs and Carlisle AG's. It will be my winter project as someone did a quick spray can restoration and I'm very picky on how my stuff looks. Motor was rebuilt and is strong, as is the mower deck. This is exactly what I was looking for!!
Hope you enjoy the pictures guys. Anyone have a good pan seat laying around?

wow really nice 70 with the chrome trim on the hood i do that to some of my cubs too the paint looks great i love the creeper tires and fenders good luck with it

Nice looking 70. I noticed the front of the deck has been closed off like I did with my cast end deck.

You have a good eye there. I too saw this but decided it was not a bad thing, looking underneath it wasn't to cover holes but to strengthen it. I'm not sure that was necessary though. "Thanks" for the comments guys, it will look better by springtime.

Very nice.I see the air cleaner is for a larger motor.What size is in it?

The seat is holey to keep your arse cool,and flatulence a place to go.
