Default What's the most you've seen?

I've been on the site for a month or two now as well as owning my 1st cub for the same amount of time. I've read a lot of threads of guys finding tractors with only a couple hundred Hrs. on them. What's the most hours you have seen on a cub cadet?? My 1711 has 3590Hrs.

If that were true, how many miles would that add up to? 17,950 miles?

Left the key on more than once?

I know my son Jake has left the key on and left Grandpa grumbling to to himself a couple of times.

at 27 years that's only 2.8 hrs a week so it's not too far out of the realm of possibility.

The most I have seen on a tractor was 13,000 hours. It was on a magnum. I know I have seen one higher but I can't remember what it was.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
