Default new kohler swap for 104
I was just wondering if the oil sump on the 10 will come off and match right up to a fresh rebuilt 12.Love to repower my lil 104 and since I got this 12 from an old horse all redone I see no reason to waste it on the shelf anymore.Will they swap?

No,the flat oil pan from a 10HP will not work on a 12HP. I believe the 12 has a longer stroke than a 10,so the oil pan for a 12HP has a sump to provide clearance.

The 12 horse pan on my 125 has a hump in the pan to clean the longer oil dipper which my 10 horse does not
