Hi my names tyler. Iv been playing with cub cadets since i was 12. I built my 1st pulling tractor from a 782 and then upgraded it wth a gear drive and clutch. I also have a 108. And am slowly fixing up what was a 122 and i have an 1100 project underway also. And my last project is a vtwin 82 series pulling tractor. Looking to learn more about these tractors and share what i know!

Those are my current projects bt are on hold right now because i am building a 12x12 shed to do all my work in. And hope to buy a small sandblaster so i can blast all my parts and save some money. These are just my cub cadets my dad also collects them mostly the red ones. He is a kubota tech mechanic and works at a kubota, cub cadet, caseih, and so on dealer so thats how i got into this hobbie. I work at a body shop so making them look nice is what i like to do!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
