PTO pulley belt sizes

I have been meaning to ask this for a while now... I have two QA42 snow throwers with the smaller V groove 3/8" pulley and yet i have two cubs a 100 and 147 and both have the larger V groove 1/2" pulley. What Cub would have the smaller PTO pulley? This pulley would also drive the mower deck right?, are there mower decks driven by 3/8 belts? Which models? I use a 1/2" belt to drive my thrower but it does rub in one spot. Using a 3/8 belt it slips a lot.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
