Thumbs up Birthday boy got a 104

Got a E-mail last night @ 1:30am, sale fell through, I was next in line for the offer, $60.00 as is, no engine. So it's my boys b-day this month and I did just sell his Scott's 1642, so I picked it up on the way home, waited @ the corner by school and waited for him to get out. It was good to see his eyes widen and his whole face light up, heck, I even let him ride on it the whole way home! (All 2 blocks) Enjoy the pics. The ser# is 168604.
Thanks,
Mouse

Well tell him I said Happy Birthday too. That's one hell of a present...my 11yr old could care less about anything mechanical....I'm not getting down on him....he's a great, brilliant and incredibly talented kid....I just wish he didn't look at me like I'm some redneck he's distantly related to.

I am not sure what it is, I need that web site w/ the ser# info. I guessed by looking @ all the pics here. I'll take all the help I can get, the boy thinks I'm still smart so by morning I hope to have a pos ID.
Thanks, Mouse

Yeh, I saw the blue h/l panel (hydro), but then noticed the shifter???
Either way, it's got fresh paint, and it looks nice. Well worth it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
