I'm looking for the dimesions on a Brinley sleeve hitch, mainly I'm wanting to know how long the bottom U shaped hitch is. I also need to know how long the lifting bar is that goes from the hitch to the lift handle.

The Sleeve Hitch Adapter is 11" from front to back.
The holes for the draft bolts are 2-3/4" from center to center. The "Sleeve" is 1" OD. I have the measurements for the lift bar, somewhere. Need to know if it's a Narrow Frame or Wide Frame

Great post! I'm thinking about making a sleeve hitch too. I've got both wide and narrow frame CC's, but would put the hitch on my narrow frame 126 first.
Thanks! Bill

Sam: Here are some renderings that were posted over the years, I'm pretty sure they are accurate. I hope it's what your looking for.
ssechrist: The first picture is a narrow frame lift bar, I can't find the numbers for a wide frame lift but still looking. I have only a diagram of a wide frame lift if it helps. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
