Which is better??
Pretty solid I am picking up an 1863 but I got a line on a 1282 also both are in great shape. So my question which is better? I am nearly certain I will end up with both somehow but just curious, aside from the 1863 having hydraulic lift and the 1282 has an armstrong lift. Now I don't really need either of them but I have caught this crazy a$$ disease.. Thoughts??

Just go ahead and keep both of 'em. One's yeller and white, and the other's red. You've gotta have at least one red one in your collection. Can't wait to see some pics!

I see your problem they are both great tractors and your sig block does not show either series in your stable. I am a fan of the comfortable seating position and look of the Cyclops, the hydro lift, hefty wheel bearings and I like 18hp vs 12. The 1282 is a great tractor with a steel hood and side panels. I am leaning toward the Cyclops but it would really depend on which one is in the better overall condition. Pictures would be great. You know you Neeeeed both

Cyclops...If it has good plastic....Be nice if it has the dual hydraulic controls...

I would go with the 1282 just because I like metal hoods over plastic. I've already decided that the 1811 that I bought will be the newest one I'll ever own. They had already beginning to cheapen them up on the 1811.
