I think you are missing a pin in your linkage. In the second vid you see the linkage pivot and it looks like there is a hole that should have a pin of some sort in it.

Do you have better pictures of the lower bracket that the plow is attached too?
It doesn't look like you have height adjustment holes in the one you have

The lift pin would go down much further with the lockout pin in, right now it looks like its set to float which stops it once the plow hits the ground

First off, I didn't watch the vids because I have dial up...

A couple of things that I noticed from the pictures:

The chains that you have running to the rear-most part of your sleeve hitch adapter throws off the geometry of how the hitch is supposed to work. The way you have it hooked up, if the end of the 1" lift pin moves 4 inches then the back edge of the hitch adapter will move 4 inches... If the chains were attached closer to the pivot point of the hitch adapter and the 1" pin moves 4 inches then the rear-most part of the hitch adapter will move a lot more than 4 inches.

As far as the "float clevis" (the part that is attached directly to the moving end of the lift cylinder) goes, If you put the "float lock-out pin" in it, then you will need to set the "cam stop" so that it is at it's lowest possible position or remove it entirely, If you don't something WILL break. Since you are using chains then the float lock-out pin is of no use to you because there is no down pressure on the sleeve hitch adapter anyway.

Chances are; if you lower the lift all the way, then push down on the end of the 1 inch pin, it will go down further than it will under its own weight.

Since you are using chains and don't have any down pressure then it is up to your implement to pull itself into the ground. Depending on the angle of the implement where it meets the ground, it may pull itself into the ground, it may pull itself into the ground just a little, it may pull itself into the ground a whole lot or it may just skip across the top of the ground.

In any event, the first thing you need to do is move the chains closer to the "hinge point" of the hitch adapter. Then see what the implement does when used, then determine if you need down pressure or not.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
