Just as an FYI, I found the PTO clutch bearing and collar at my local Advance Auto parts. Mine came to a grand total of $13.98 tax included. The number is NPC100RPC..Just thought I'd let you guys know it may be quicker to get your bearing a bit faster than ordering online. It also crosses to a green machine number...

I just took my pto off my cub 100, and the bearing wouldn't have lasted much longer. Thanks for the info.
Edit: Found it at my local auto store 'O'reillys' Don't have advance auto in my neck of the woods.

That's great info. Hopefully it lasts as long as one made by CC.

Thanks earl for the cross number. That helps a lot. I just got the front wheel bearings from the green machine place. There should be a thread for cross reference numbers like this, wish I kept the bag.

Thanks for the cross number information. Just ordered one from O'reilly for $8.99!! The one at Advanced is probably a better bearing being a National bearing. They are all probably the same since everything these days is made overseas.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
