Default testing Ignition coil command CH22s

Hello -

I did some basic testing on my 2284 which has never run right/starts hard.

I'm focusing on the Ignition modules at this point and tested the resistance on the spark plug lead to ground:

left side - 10k ohms - in spec
right side - 191k ohms - way high if I did it right

The manual spec says 8k-40k ohms range for that coil.

before I remove shroud and test the other tabs on the coils I wanted to make sure all the resistance readings should be done with black lead on meter going to ground.

When testing or checking resistance, it doesn't matter which meter lead is used on a particular end of a load. Just make sure the Meter Lead has a good connection to the load.

Just verifying that one lead goes to ground and the other to various tabs and plug lead on coil depending on test.
