Default WoooooooooHooooooooo

I had posted an ad on craigslist looking for a one bottom a couple of months ago, and finally got a response. I called the guy and he said he had a hardly used Brinly with a coulter, for a sleeve hitch. When I asked him what he wanted for it, he said he paid 10 bucks at an auction, just needs his money back! I told him what it was worth, and he said his money back is fine with him. I have to drive an hour and a half to get it, so what!

Today sucked, I was about ready for something good to happen!

Now if only I could find a 5 dollar tow behind sprayer.................

Sounds like you did real good!! I was tickled to death to find one for $50.00 with out a coulter. It doesn't seem to matter much here with all the rocks and no sod.

Thumbs up

I admire you Stitch. You are an honest man. I would most probably have just said, "I'll take it!" and not mentioned the true value of the object in question. Mostly, when I buy something, I assume the seller is asking the price they want to get, regardless of true value. I have to admit, though, that I have made some buys that made me feel a little guilty afterwards. Your policy is certainly the best. You'll always have people willing to do business with you.

I try. The bow I currently shoot would've cost $1200 or so new (2007). I bought it at a pawn shop for $100 (brand new shape). I asked the kid if the price was right, and told him it was worth way more, and he said the manager prices all bows the same because the resale value isn't very good. So I told him he better go ahead and ring it up. It's the best shooting bow I've ever had.

I found a sprayer on craigsunist today for $50 bucks about 20 miles from where the plow is. The guy said he'll hold it for me for an extra $5!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
