I am still having issues with my rebuilt carb on my K241 Carter carb in my 100. I have replaced the gaskets, float, needle, etc. It ran great last fall and then this spring kinda crapped out on me. It would run great until it got hot and then would cut out. I still thought it was a valve issue, but figured I would rule out any dirt in the carb. So cleaned it up again and re installed it and that is when the thing would not stop spitting gas out the bottom hole in the carb. When you remove the air cleaner, the bottom hole on the air cleaner side of the carb will spit the gas out when it is choked. If I don't choke it, then nothing comes out of the carb. The cylinder is not getting gas into it - the plug is dry. So what the heck is happening? Did I do something wrong? Anyone ever run into this issue before? Any suggestions on how to solve it?

I have had the same problem in the past with gas running out the carb. What I found was the pin that holds the float to the carb was bound up. The pin was tight going thru the little ears on the carb as well as were it went thru the float. I polished the pin and the problem was gone. Something to look at . Hopefully that will work for you. think you might have a stuck intake valve? when the choke is shut the air being pushed out the intake would go down past the hi speed adjuster and put pressure on the fuel pushing it out of the correction circuit . that would also explain why you don't get fuel into the cyl. might be worth looking into
