How many of you guys use Tractor Supply hydro fluid in your cubs.

I know all the good about Hytran but, it's expensive and I can't get it around here. Any horror stories about the TS brand?

That's what I got for my 125 and it seems to work ok.

I have used that brand hydro oil as well as Napa brand hydro oil for the better part of 30yrs with no issues what so ever.

I use it in my 2182 but I change the oil and filter every season and I have drilled oil return holes in the bottom of my case allowing the oil in the axle tubes to drain. Keep in mind that it will not encapsulate water like the Case Hy-Tran will so if you are one of those that doesn’t change it out on a regular basis it may not be the wise thing to do. I have also used the Wally Worlds stuff with no problems. That said I suggest that you use what Cub recommends if possible.

That's the exact same stuff that I use and it carries the HyTran certification right on the bottle...

I buy it at Rural King, which is a slight bit less expensive, if you have one around.
