Angry About ready to quit tractors

When did garden and farm tractors become a "national security" type item. I tried to join a few other forums to cover some iron not able to be mentioned on a IH type of site like this and it seems there is more security on those site than what it takes to get into my local bank and other sites. It has annoyed me to the point i have lost interest in joining the sites. just crazy stupid i mean when the sunsets they are tractor, we are not build rockets. 5 days to get into the haban group, and still not to all the parts. AC site i posted a thread and got 2 pages of help, so i take apart a tractor i have no clue on and then they banned my account. now i have a tractor with a transmission open and no access to the answers. I just don't get it. 70 year old Iron and the info is more protected than any other thing i have done on the INternet. I was going to travel to buy a really cool in great shape AC lawn and garden tractor tomorrow, so angry i told the guy i don't want it. about ready to sell my cubs and go on to the next hobby. 1315 and my 71 will probably be for sell by morning.

If I were you I would join GtTalk. Excellent group of guys and every brand of garden tractor is covered there. Probably some you have never heard of before. Doesn't matter what brand or color someone is always willing to help. Kelly

I'd quit computers/internet before I'd quit a tractor.

OK am I missing something, you are having issues with other than Cub web sites, have been banned from other than this site but you are going to sell your Cubs? I suggest that you contact the admins from the sites you are having issues with and see if your problems can be rectified. One site I like for other brands is MTF.

na this site is great, everyone is good people here. I just angry at some other things. Got another tractor tore open, some fellows on an AC forum site was giving me a step by step to get this old 1948 AC running and for what ever reason my account got banned. so now i got and exposed tractor guts, going to rain here and i was pretty mad over it. just got my train derailed and need to get it back on track.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
