Looks like there's two different revisions of the 1541 (unless I'm reading it wrong) so I don't want to give you the wrong one. Go here and put in your model, check out electrical and see if that helps.

I have two 1541's, the first model, second model. The ground is in the same place on each ground the same place on the intake runner, you can trace it by the ground from battery. One thing to check is remove the screw, clean the threaded hole good I use a drill and a bronze gun cleaning brush (30 cal would be about the correct size) stainless brush would work good also.
