Default Fall maintenance

Went to get a hydrostatic filter for my CC 123 from NAPA (NAPA FIL1410). I was pleasantly surprised to learn all filters are on sale for 50% off(The 1410 filter was only $5.85!!)

I have no idea if this is national but the cheap folks that run my local NAPA wouldn't do this on their own Also, I can't verify because the same outfit owns all the NAPAs within 20 miles so they all are doing it and none of the guys could tell me if it was national. They said the "thought so" because they have to ring it up under the annual "spring promotion", which is national.

If you plan on making this filter part of your fall maintenance I think the sale only lasts through Sept 30. Post back here if you are able to confirm the sale exists everywhere.

Is this what you're talking about?

(found under Resources >> Technical Library - Tractors >> Hydro Oil Filters)

I'll probably go in and get a few filters myself.

We were out near NAPA today, I stopped in and asked about the sale

The counter guy said

He asked the other guys, nobody knew anything about a sale.

He said they were a company owned store,

Is there anything online about the sale, I did not see anything at NAPAonline.

Oh, yea, the 1410 filter price was $9.72,,

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
