I hope you have better luck with it than I had with my Motor Guide remote controll, trolling motor that I first bought about 1995 for maybe $600.
![]() It worked okay at first, then it started steering with amind of it's own! Got to where I couldn't even use it. At that time, Mercury Marine had just bought them out and was under some other kind of reorganization. You think anyone would answer the phone at Motor Guide? Heck No!

I got the 55lb thrust and 12 volt. The powerdrive was the cheapest one. Then around $400 more was the terrova, which I got. It has a bigger shaft than the powerdrive, and, if needed, you can use the foot pedal as well as the wireless remote. On the powerdrive it was one or the other. It's on a 17' aluminum boat so I didn't feel the need for the 24 volt 70 lb thrust. The original 30lb thrust did just fine, so this should be awesome.
It can remember 6 tracks, has auto pilot, and spot lock. (like an anchor) Can't wait to try it out. Maybe tomorrow. Brent |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
