Default No mo mow!

The PTO quit working on my 1250. Figured it was the fuse, ended up being the field coil.

Chris Westfall tried to help, bless his heart, but couldn't get it any cheaper than Parts Tree. It's back together now but too wet to try it out.

Sounds funny but I missed that tractor for the past 3 weeks!

I had shoulder surgery in May and wasn't allowed to mow for three months ( surgeon's orders )

My neighbor Vic mowed my lawn every week for me and wouldn't take any money or gas. He would however take home cooked food from my wife and I was dropping off a case of beer every week for him.

Sounds to me that both of you benefited. Good neighbors are hard to come by. I am happy that you are back on the seat and enjoying the Cadet again.

Vic and Donna are the type of neighbors everybody wishes they had. If we hit a big lottery, we'd take them with ( they are good people )

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
