Hello everyone, I've been looking at garden tractors all day that have been customized with homemade loaders, and just loaders point blanc. Well, I wanted to know what type of loader would work on my cubby 123 and how much $ a custom made one would be. I want to put a loader on my cubby and my wheel horse A-800. Any info appreciated.
Thanks, Kyle ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

lol i think we all want loaders, but most loaders ive seen go for like $1200- $1900 a little crazy for me! youd be looking for something like an old Danco or kwik-way, sometimes you can stumble across a good steal, one guy i talked to said he got his for $50!!!! at a cub cadet delears junk pile, PF enginearing sells plans to build you own but the materials alone cost a heck of a lot... then you need to be able to weld very well or know someone who can and pay him with a few

kwik-way still makes new loaders, unfortunately, not for the older cubs, cyclops and newer, cost is $3000 shipped to a freight terminal near you.

I broke down and spent good money for a used Kwik Way that needed some work, I'm glad I did because I use it ALL the time, not really sure how I ever survived without it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
