1250 in for sale section,...
I don't know, but that 1250 listed in the FS section below for a 100 bucks, what a whopper of a deal! I'm in too much with my 72, because I want so bad a 1250 to restore instead. Oh well, my 72 will gleam!
I think I'm having a Yellow fever break down!

cub cadet 71 that my pop pop got new and gave me in 85......restoration just started cub cadet 100......was a friends grandfathers, given to me in 93.. restoration almost finished cub cadet 72, 150 dollar craigslist find, 38" deck, worker cub cadet 127 basketcase, my dad bought in 84 cub cadet 71 beauty (formerly johncub7172's) cub cadet 123, craigslist find

My son says that my yellow fever is cheaper than fast women, drinking, or drugs.
I hate to see them sitting, rusting away or even worse, going for scrap. I have been retired for 5 years and owe nobody a cent. Always hated owing money to anybody. So with my set income I can plan my spending to include Cubs.This actually is a cheap hobby compared to say golf. You want an expensive hobby? Try boating. I figure after the fuel, care and maintenance, the fish I catch cost about $300 a pound. 2 to 4 MPG is good for a boat of any size. And if the boat holds 150 gallons and buying at the fuel dock at over $4 a gallon you can see the problem. I sold my larger boat last year (lucky to find somebody who wanted to own it) and have a small 18ft. center console. Easy to launch and operate and all I need these days. Been cutting back on my fishing lately as my friends are also having aging problems and are not joining me as they once did. I guess I will have to be more selective on the orphans I save, but for now the pickings are too plentiful. With Cubs, as long as I can hobble out to the shed I can keep doing it. AND I do love working on them. When I'm no longer above ground I feel my Cubs will be passed on to someone else who will love them and not just see a rusted lawn mower as the people I buy them from today see.
