Default Cozy cab

Hi All,

I'm new to the site, I'm Greg. I bought a Cozy cab I do believe for my 1650. The back window seal and rubber parts are bad. Anyone know where I get new stuff for that? Any help would be great!! Thank you!!

Welcome to OCC Greg! Here on the forum, we LOVE pics, so post a few of your cab so we can oooh and ahhh over it...... And then see if we can help you find what you need! Shouldn't be any big deal, the rubber "zipper" style window molding can be purchased from a lot of places. Any glass shop, auto parts store, and "restoration" websites should be able to help!

Nice to see another Minnesotan! Did you get the one in Wisconsin on Craigslist? I have my eye on that one.

Default Cozy cab

No I traded a soft cab for a wide frame for the cozy cab to ccspecialties in Park Rapids MN. I will try to get pictures of it on here as soon as I can. I know the rubber molding has two places for the windows to go into, than some sort of piece that slides in to press it all firmly in place. Thanks for the welcome!!

If it's the type of seal that has a rubber "rope" that gets inserted after the window is put in place, spend a few dollars and get the correct tool. It makes life easier and reduces the amount the "universal adjective" gets used

Welcome

Welcome to the site, Greg!

My first advice...?

Hit your local junkyard. 73-88 Chevy trucks use the most plain Jane glass gaskets that you could imagine. Just stroll the the yard until you see something that you think would work.

My 1983 AMC Eagle wagon is sporting the parts of a '92 Eagle Talon (hatch seal), a '95 Dakota pickup (rear junction block for rear brakes), '86 Ranger clutch master cylinder reservoir, '92 Jeep Cherokee rear leaf springs, '75 Jeep CJ-5 transmission mount, and '97 Olds 88 E-Brake cables.

Stalk the boneyard!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
