I'm with ya!
He is probably referring to the rototiller gearbox as the rare pto!

I have ran across other people who thought the gearbox was some type of rear pto too.

I've lost a few good deals on craigs list by waiting.

One time it was a shaft drive cubby that SEEMED to good of a deal to behold. Since I was viewing it at 8:00am I'd wait till 10 or so. That was 2 hours tooooooo long.
