Default Another new guy from WI

I just wanted to say hi from central Wisconsin, lets see if I can get the pics to work for my 1965 100. I recently got it and it has a tight engine. I plan to remove the engine and see if I can get it knocked apart to rebuild it. It was running when it locked up. The previous owner said it was a smoker and I'm betting it was run low on oil.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Diz Jr.-Thats actually a motorcyle lift that I made those slide in diamond plate extensions for. The bike you see is a 1978 Honda with a 1974 California Companion sidecar on it.

Here is what it looks like tonight after 3 hours, victory beer and all! Everything is apart, tomorrow start cleaning up and take the block to the machine shop to get bored. I had a heck of a time trying to get the front pto off, thanks to this site and the search I found the info I needed.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
