well i can't tell you what it is but I'm pretty sure its not an IH cub cadet part. none i've ever seen at least.

I've hand every nut and bolt of a 122 out and this doesn't look familiar at all. Maybe something a PO made.

I'm pretty sure that isn't a cub part. I've never seen that.

That is a toggle switch safety cover from the formerly top secret CC122 guided missile interceptor project.
The DOD wanted a portable, inconspicuous, suburbanite friendly unit that could also mow grass while on weekly patrol in subdivisions.

The small hole is for the safety wire to keep the bikini clad girl from accidentally shooting the missile.

What it actually is ---- A brake pedal lock to lock brake pedal down. I have one on my 460 farmall. When you press brake pedal down you lift up on a rod to catch this piece on the brake pedal arm to lock the brakes. When you step on the brake again this piece lets go by way of a spring that is connected to the small hole.
