Those things are killer snow machines. The town where I live has two of them and they're fast. I wish I had one. I'll bet they're big bucks.

One of the comments mentions $178,000 for a use one? Does that even make sense? I like the way they are narrow enough to run up and down the sidewalks.

Not sure I know what the price would be. That machine sure does jam! Definitely big-city material. Around here its all Kubota with throwers. Though, our new Case "skid-steer" was about 70K with enclosed cab, heat and radio, and all options. We used that for snow removal specifically.

Wow....My uncle had an older one of those that he priced to me for $4000 or $3000.....something like that. It was older....I'm thinking '70's or so, but I should have entertained that offer!!! I didn't know they were that pricey of a machine, since they were only one seaters and not a whole lot there.

I wondered that too, their sidewalks must not heave much. Pretty awesome otherwise!

And I hope it's got a 5 point seat belt so if, or when they would hit a curb or buried fire plug.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
