Default Wrong Fuel Pump

Ordered a Stens Kohler 52-559-03-S from Amazon. The one that arrived was not as pictured. The actuator arm should have a slight bend in it like the photo, but the one I received had a sharply curved bend. Also, the inlet/outlets were orientated perpendicular from the one pictured and my original.
Frustrated. Now I have to return it. Wonder if they just sent me the wrong model? Wish there was a way to verify what will actually be sent before they send it.

Do you have a link to the one you ordered? Gotta watch, sometimes smaller sellers will slip one by on ya. If you need the link, this is the link to the exact one I ordered about 6 months ago and it came to me right. Hope you get things straightened out!

Your link lists Alamia, Inc. as the seller, but my Orders page lists Damlow Prices as the seller.
I think someone's doing a switcheroo...

I'll order another and make sure it's from Alamia, Inc.

We'll see what happens.

Make sure you aren't buying from the pic. You have to go by part number. A lot of those pics say "stock photo actual product may vary". You don't state what you are working on? What tractor model and what motor?

The Amazon page listed it as a Kohler 52 559 03-S fuel pump with appropriate photo. That's the part number I got from Parts Tree and other sources.

It's for a CCC 782, Kohler KT17, Series II engine.

Good catch! After I posted my response, I thought about just what you posted. Should have asked what it's going on in my first post!

Reordered the 52 559 03-S from Alamia, Inc. this time. Supposed to arrive end of this week/first of next. I'll let everyone know when it does.

New fuel pump arrived (which was lightning fast) and it's the right one; exactly like the original. Will install tonight.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
