Default Help identifying this machine?
This is for sale on a local online swap-shop. The picture is not very high quality. Can anyone identify it for me? The seller lists it as an International but offers no other information. I'm not well-versed enough to know what it is but if it cuts grass it might do if the price is right so I can take down the 104 for much needed repair. Thanks.

Looks like an MTD to me also. It's definitely not an IH.

At first i was thinking maybe toro wheelhorse or something...? But im thinking mtd.....maybe...definitely not IH

Its a cheap box store mower . Think maybe a ranch king. The back wheels probably are attached to the axle with a pin and cotter key.

ya it is either a ranch king or some other style of Gilson tractor. some of those have a 6 speed transmission and a 2 speed rear end and if it does those are popular in the racing world I hear.

That is an MTD. Ranch King and Yard Machines made one like that and the Ranch King seemed to have the same style decals, too. Here is a closer picture of the LHS of one. You can see the MTD on the side of the hood, along with the breather fins on top and other characteristics. This one is a different year though.

Maybe it was made in Mexico or China. thus it is an international mower.

Looks like a MTD, have him lift the seat, there should be a model number tag/sticker attached to the seat pan. With the MN: we all will know what it is.
