Well shes been bugging me wanting a tractor like daddy's and a buddy of mine had this sitting in his back yard since the deck "quit working" mid season said it ran and drove fine and told me to get it outta there so I locked the truck in 4 high and hooked the strap to it to pull it the almost quarter mile through the yard in the snow. My daughter seen it and started calling it her. Plans are to get it running again pull the deck and scrap that and she wants all the yellow painted pink. She can easily turn it so that's not a problem just gotta figure out a way to where she wont fall off on a bump and I think im going to put a tethered kill switch on it as well. Here's the pic. Other then the dirt and flat tires it dont look half bad and the headlights work! Tires have been holding air for about 24 hours now

That's cool. When my oldest drives the 1015, he can't reach the pedals. To stop he just stands up and the seat switch kills the motor. If I keep it I'll put some mid controls on it so he can use the brake.

She will be able to run the hydro so that's no big issue. I just think this one would be a little better if she runs into something then my 1450

To be honest I didn't even pay attention to it. Got it to fire today before work with a squirt bottle and fuel the tractor was creeping rearward also but hydro linkage is froze solid. So this is all a plus.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
