I found what I thought was a #3 trailer near me for sale but the guy says its a Sears brand so, does any one know if Sears made a trailer similar to the IH #3 trailer, or did someone just give it a Sears sticker. It does have a release for it to dump that looks similar to that on a #2 trailer. Any help is much appreciated Thanks! (He says it measures 20" wide x 3' long x 1' deep.)

I looked all over and found this. International Harvester 3 trailer. Not cub cadet but it is IH. This one does not dump though.
http://www.cubcadet.com/webapp/wcs/s...0-A/0123700001 Sears don't or did not sell one like this that I could find.

This is just a guess on my part... but I'm bettin that IH never made a cart, I think they contracted that work out to someone who had the tooling and equipment to do that kind of work. So it's entirely possible that carts that are badged with a different brand could look similar to an "IH" cart.
In any event that doesn't look like an IH cart.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
